Puppy Application/Deposit - Payment - Return Policies

Our exceptional puppies are whelped in our home and socialized to humans from birth, but exposure to germs, parasites, and viruses is carefully restricted.  Our puppies go to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age with a State of Florida Veterinary Health Certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations from our veterinarian, wormings at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, AKC registration paperwork, a thorough vet exam, lifetime breeder support, and a purchase agreement that includes a health guarantee. Dew claws are NOT removed - they have a purpose (click on link to watch video).

We are currently accepting deposits for our upcoming chocolate, yellow, and black 2024 and 2025 litters.

​​PUPPY DEPOSIT / PAYMENT POLICY - PLEASE READ!

​A deposit can be placed ONLY after your application has been received, a phone interview has been completed, and you have been approved for a Tru-Heart puppy. 

​

When we receive a deposit, a puppy is considered sold.  If you place a deposit on a Tru-Heart Labradors puppy, and you subsequently find another puppy, or an unforeseen circumstance arises (vacation, moving, etc.), your deposit will NOT be refunded; however, we will be happy to transfer it to another litter. If a litter does not "take", or too few puppies are born, your deposit will be transferred to the next litter that will produce the coat color/gender you specified. If one year has elapsed from the date of your deposit, and we have not produced a puppy for you, your deposit will be returned.

* TRU-HEART LABRADORS reserves the right to refund a deposit or full payment, at any time, for any reason.

* TRU-HEART LABRADORS reserves the right to retain the pick of the litter if, at any time, a puppy meets our high breeding quality standards.  If this occurs, all deposit holders will be moved down one pick. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

PUPPY RETURN POLICY - PLEASE READ!

​All puppy sales are final and NON-refundable (except for the health-related reasons outlined in the Florida Pet Lemon Law).  However, if for any non-health-related reason you are unable to keep your puppy, you may contact us, at any time, and we will assist you in finding a suitable new home for your puppy.

PUPPY BALANCE DUE / PICKUP -  PLEASE READ!

​The balance due for the purchase of your puppy is due no later than 5 weeks after the whelp date. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THIS DEADLINE, THE PUPPY WILL BE RE-LISTED FOR SALE, AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.

Tru-Heart Labradors accepts deposits through Zelle.  Payment for the balance can be made by CASH ONLY when you come to our facility to view the puppies.  If you cancel your reservation after full payment has been made, a refund, minus your deposit, will be issued to you after the puppy has been re-sold.

​

You will pick your puppy and take it home when it is 8 weeks of age, per Florida State Law. 

​

You must be on time for puppy pickup!  If you are late, we will pick your puppy for you!
