Deposit - Payment - Return Policies

For each litter, we accept deposits for only 3 male and 3 female puppies to help ensure you receive a puppy from the litter you have chosen.  The average litter size for Labrador Retrievers is 5-8 puppies.

 

Tru-Heart puppies go to your home at 8 weeks of age with the following:

• State of Florida Veterinary Health Certificate

• Age-appropriate vaccinations from our veterinarian

• Wormings at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks

• AKC registration paperwork

• A thorough vet exam

• Lifetime breeder support

• Purchase agreement

• Health guarantee

PUPPY DEPOSIT / PAYMENT POLICY​

When you place a deposit on a Tru-Heart puppy, it is considered "sold".  Deposits are non-refundable.  If there are too few puppies of the requested sex and/or color in a litter, your deposit can either be transferred to a puppy of a different sex and/or color in the litter, if available, or applied to a future litter of your choice.

 

Please don’t request a refund of your deposit because you changed your mind.

 

If at any time, including Puppy Pick Up day, we find a buyer has made false or misleading statements on their application, or if there is any question about their ability to properly care for the puppy, we reserve the right to cancel the sale.

Tru-Heart Labradors reserves the right to retain the pick of the litter if, at any time, a puppy meets our high breeding quality standards.  If this occurs, all deposit holders will be moved down one pick in the litter.

PUPPY RETURN POLICY 

​All puppy sales are final and NON-refundable (except for the health-related reasons outlined in the Florida Pet Lemon Law).  However, if for any non-health-related reason you are unable to keep your puppy, you may contact us, at any time, and we will assist you in finding a suitable new home for your puppy.

PUPPY BALANCE DUE / PICKUP 

​The balance due for the purchase of your puppy is due no later than 5 weeks after the whelp date. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THIS DEADLINE, THE PUPPY WILL BE RE-LISTED FOR SALE, AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.

Tru-Heart Labradors accepts deposits through Zelle.  Payment for the balance can be made by CASH ONLY when you come to our facility to view the puppies.  If you cancel your reservation after full payment has been made, a refund, minus your deposit, will be issued to you after the puppy has been re-sold.

You will pick your puppy and take it home when it is 8 weeks of age, per Florida State Law.
